Watercolor Exclusive Fleet FAQ

Advance Reservations

The Electric Cart Company accepts reservations up to one year in advance. We reserve the right to correct or adjust rates to the published rates for specific vehicles at the time of the reservation, in the event that they have been misquoted due to human and/or computer error. An upfront charge of $100.00 will be processed to your credit card to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance will be processed to the credit card on file up to one (1) week prior to your arrival.

Rates (Subject to Change Without Notice)

Rates include LSV rental and delivery, state-required daily insurance, and sales tax.

Cancellation

You may cancel your reservation up to Fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled delivery of the LSV forfeiting your $100.00 administration fee. You will be charged the full amount of the reservation if you cancel at anytime less than 14 days prior to the scheduled delivery date. No refund of the reservation deposit will be made for any cancellations, regardless of the reason. All cancellations must be in writing, email, fax, or correspondence, and must identify the authorized renter and the reservation number.

Online Reservations

Our online reservation system was developed to simplify your rental experience with the Electric Cart Company.

  1. Select the date you want to pick up the LSV. Pickup hours are between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and drop off by 10 am fully charged. (Delivery and Pickup does NOT apply to WaterColor Rentals).
  2. Select the type of LSV you wish to rent. Your choices include a 4-passenger, 6-passenger or an 8-passenger in our General Fleet, or a 6 Passenger LSV in our Water Color Fleet.
  3. Complete all forms with your personal, driver, and credit card information. In the box titled Local Cart Delivery Address, please include the complete street address that you wish to have the rental LSV delivered to.
  4. Please complete the Additional Drivers section at the time of the reservation. You will be given an opportunity up until the day of delivery to add up to two drivers at no additional charge. Please send additional driver information along with a copy of their Drivers License and your reservation number to rentals@electriccartcompany.com. 
  5. At the completion of this online session, you will be provided confirmation and a price for your rental online.
  6. In addition to receiving an email confirmation, you will also receive a second email containing your Rental Agreement as an electronic document for your signature.

Other Considerations

Drivers

The authorized renter must be at least 25 years old and have a valid driver's license. Any additional drivers must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.

Rental Period

All vehicles are rented by the day in 24-hour increments, or any portion thereof. There is a minimum rental period of two (2) days.

Method of Payment

When making any reservation, the method of payment is by credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. The rental deposit is due immediately prior to vehicle delivery and is processed automatically. The deposit will be put on the credit card you have provided during the reservation process. This credit card will also guarantee the condition of the vehicle until it is checked in at the conclusion of the rental period. Your reservation deposit will be credited to your rental account when the rental deposit is processed.

Accepted forms of payment are in U.S. funds only.

Pickup of Rental Cart

The Rental LSV is guaranteed to be ready for pick up behind the Watercolor Publix between the hours 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. 

The Rental LSV is to be delivered to same location as pick up (behind the Watercolor Publix) no later than 10:00 AM and must be fully charged.

*** The bike paths on 30A are for non-motorized vehicles only. Walton County Sheriffs Office enforces a hefty fine for violators. Please be safe on your vacation! Know the Florida law on street-legal cart usage.
