Advance Reservations
The Electric Cart Company accepts reservations up to one year in advance. We reserve the right to correct or adjust rates to the published rates for specific vehicles at the time of the reservation, in the event that they have been misquoted due to human and/or computer error. An upfront charge of $100.00 will be processed to your credit card to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance will be processed to the credit card on file up to one (1) week prior to your arrival.
Rates (Subject to Change Without Notice)
Rates include LSV rental, pickup and delivery, state-required daily insurance, and sales tax.
Cancellation
You may cancel your reservation up to Fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled delivery of the LSV forfeiting your $100.00 administration fee. You will be charged the full amount of the reservation if you cancel at anytime less than 14 days prior to the scheduled delivery date. No refund of the reservation deposit will be made for any cancellations, regardless of the reason. All cancellations must be in writing, email, fax, or correspondence, and must identify the authorized renter and the reservation number.
Online Reservations
Our online reservation system was developed to simplify your rental experience with the Electric Cart Company.
- Select the date you want us to deliver and pick up the LSV. We deliver between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and pick up between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and noon (Delivery and Pickup does NOT apply to WaterColor Rentals).
- Select the type of LSV you wish to rent. Your choices include a 4-passenger, 6-passenger or 8-passenger LSV in our General Fleet, or a 6 Passenger LSV in our Water Color Fleet.
- Select the general area that you wish your LSV will be delivered. We deliver on 30A to Gulf Place, Grayton Beach, Miramar Beach, Old 98 in Okaloosa County, Inlet Beach, to Destin Bridge.
- Complete all forms with your personal, driver, and credit card information. In the box titled “Local LSV Delivery Address”, please include the complete street address that you wish to have the rental LSV delivered to.
- Please complete the “Additional Drivers” section at the time of the reservation. You will be given an opportunity up until the day of delivery to add up to two drivers at no additional charge. Please send additional driver information along with a copy of their Drivers License and your reservation number to rentals@electriccartcompany.com.
- At the completion of this online session, you will be provided confirmation and a price for your rental online.
- In addition to receiving an email confirmation, you will also receive a second email containing your Rental Agreement as an electronic document for your signature.
Other Considerations
Drivers
The authorized renter must be at least 25 years old and have a valid driver's license. Any additional drivers must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
Rental Period
All vehicles are rented by the day in 24-hour increments, or any portion thereof. There is a minimum rental period of two (2) days.
Method of Payment
When making any reservation, the method of payment is by credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. The rental deposit is due immediately prior to vehicle delivery and is processed automatically. The deposit will be put on the credit card you have provided during the reservation process. This credit card will also guarantee the condition of the vehicle until it is checked in at the conclusion of the rental period. Your reservation deposit will be credited to your rental account when the rental deposit is processed.
Accepted forms of payment are in U.S. funds only.
Delivery/Pickup of Rental Cart
The rented LSV will be delivered to the authorized renter at the time of the reservation, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Please note there is a possibility that your rental may be delivered later than 6:00 p.m. during peak seasons or due to inclement weather. (Delivery and Pickup does NOT apply to WaterColor Rentals).
The rental LSV will be picked up between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and noon on the last day of rental. Pickup will be at the same address the vehicle was delivered to unless specifically noted by the authorized renter at the time of delivery. Please note that the insurance provided during the rental period will cancel at 10:00 a.m. on the pickup date, so the vehicle needs to be parked for pickup by ECC no later than 10:00 a.m. The LSV should be charged and clean at the time of pickup. (Delivery and Pickup does NOT apply to WaterColor Rentals).
*** The bike paths on 30A are for non-motorized vehicles only. Walton County Sheriffs Office enforces a hefty fine for violators. Please be safe on your vacation! Know the Florida law on street-legal cart usage.
