Rates, which are subject to change at any time, include electric bike rental, pickup, delivery and sales tax.

Cancellation

You may cancel your reservation up to eight (8) days prior to the scheduled delivery of the bike, a $100.00 administration fee will be charged. You will be charged the full amount of the reservation if you cancel at anytime less than 8 days prior to the scheduled delivery date. No refund of the reservation deposit will be made for any cancellations, regardless of the reason, that are dated less than eight (8) days from the date of the reservation. All cancellations must be in writing, email, fax, or correspondence, and must identify the authorized renter and the reservation number.

Other Considerations

Rentee

The authorized renter must be 21 years old with valid driver's license. Any additional riders must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver's license.

Rental Period

All bikes are rented by the day in 24-hour increments, or any portion thereof. There is a minimum rental period of two (2) days.

Method of Payment

When making any reservation, the method of payment is by credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Deposit is due immediately prior to bike delivery and is processed automatically. The deposit will be put on the credit card you have provided during the reservation process. This credit card will also guarantee the condition of bike until it is checked in at the conclusion of the rental period. Your reservation deposit will be credited to your rental account when the rental deposit is processed. Accepted forms of payment are in U.S. funds only.

Delivery/Pickup of Rental Vehicle

The rented bike will be delivered to the authorized renter at the time of the reservation, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Please note there is a possibility that your rental may be delivered later than 6:00 p.m. during peak seasons or due to inclement weather. The rental bike will be picked up between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and noon on the last day of rental. Pickup will be at the same address the bike was delivered to unless specifically noted by the authorized renter at the time of delivery.

Advanced Reservations

The Electric Cart Company accept reservations up to one year in advance. We reserve the right to correct or adjust rates to the published rates for specific bikes at the time of the reservation, in the event that they have been misquoted due to human and/or computer error. An upfront charge of $100.00 will be processed to your credit card to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance will be processed to the credit card on file one (1) week prior to your arrival.
